Students generally celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation at the end of their sophomore year or early junior year of high school. Students are encouraged to recognize their individual gifts, with the hope that they will develop them to the benefit of the entire Body of Christ, as they continue on their path to holiness, beyond the day that they are sealed with the Holy Spirit through the Sacrament of Confirmation.
Preparation for the celebration of this sacrament usually occurs through a parish youth ministry program. When there is a lack of peer teens preparing for the sacrament, the teen can join a nearby parish program or a personal formation program can be developed for the candidate. Please call the parish office for more information.
